New Endeavor

I have been working on the idea of buying a business. Where I currently work is ok but there is no way to advance monetarily and no hope that will ever change so I need some secondary income. I will still be a cop. I started looking at local businesses that were for sale. I did some research and found that most of them were for sale because they were not profitable or in need of major repair. In the process of looking and talking to people I found someone who wants to sell their existing business that has been in place and profitable for 20 years. The total price is pretty high but we are working on ways to get it financed. I am excited at this prospect and think that I have a good chance to make it work.
